Bell-Whitley CAA, Inc. is now hiring for WHITLEY COUNTY Head Start/Preschool teacher positions! 


REQUIREMENTS:
• Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (If no IECE, should be willing to explore Option 6 or Master’s for IECE certification).
• Must have passed required PRAXIS exam and have a valid Statement of Eligibility or teaching certificate from the state of Kentucky.
• Prefer experience working with pre-school children.
• Must pass a TB skin test, chemical dependency test, physical exam and a criminal record check.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to prove insurability by agency insurance carrier and have reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED and an Infant and Toddler Child Development Credential (CDA).

o Prefer Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

· Prefer experience working with infants and toddlers.

· Must pass a TB skin test, a physical examination, chemical dependency test, central registry check and a criminal record check.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and prove insurability by agency insurance carrier.

· Must be willing to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

LIHEAP Worker POSITIONS AVAILABLE in Bell and Whitley Counties

Bell-Whitley CAA, Inc. is taking applications for part time LIHEAP Workers in Bell and Whitley Counties.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Must have some office skills including the use of adding machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
   Computer knowledge required.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Must possess good written and oral communication skills.

· Must be currently unemployed.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Must have legible handwriting and printing.

· Must be able to understand and adhere to written guidelines.

· Must treat all information about clients and the agency in a confidential manner.

· Must be well-groomed to meet the general public.

 

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

· Customer Service

· Working well with clients and coworkers.

· Scheduling appointments

· Managing client appointments and reminder calls

· Determining client eligibility.

· Completion of client applications, vouchers, rosters, etc.

· General referrals
