Bell-Whitley Community Action Agency is one of more than 1,000 Community Action Agencies in the United States. Organized in 1968 and incorporated in 1969, as part of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to fight America's War on Poverty, Bell-Whitley Community Action Agency utilizes all resources available to help others to become self-sufficient

Bell-Whitley CAA EVENTS

Repair Affair Whitley County

Bell-Whitley Community Action Agency, Inc. is now taking applications for our Whitley County Repair Affair. Repair Affair is a one-day event, where volunteers help elderly and/or disabled persons make minor repairs to their homes. Some examples of projects that may be done during this event are: ramps, exterior painting, and porch repair. This event will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2019. All applicants must be elderly or disabled, must own their home, and must meet income guidelines. To inquire about getting assistance through this program, please contact the Whitley County office at 549-3933.
